Everyone always asks how I got started in this to which I answer, “I was born with this passion.” By age 9, I was collecting dandelion greens from the back yard and during my teenage years I was hiding multi -vitamins from my mother in my sock drawer, much to her frustration. As a wife and mother, my journey turned into a pantry full of mason jars filled with mysterious herbs for every ailment, meal and occasion for which my teenaged niece and nephew were convinced I’d end up jailed. My husband and I then home schooled our children and I incorporated my passion into our science and health classes. We planted herbs, harvested them, dried them and made them into salves, ointments, lip balms, poultices and meals. Amazingly enough, we managed to raise three children feeding them healthy and nutritious food and not one of them has grown a second head.
I have managed a health food store, acquired my certification as a Natural Health Professional, I am a Certified Aromatherapist, a Certified Herbalist, Certified Biblical Coach, Certified in Advanced Biblical Studies, A Mind-Body Integration Specialist, and an IFOC Sr. Chaplain and am always continuing my education in mind, body, soul, spirit , will, and emotional health.
It is my conviction, that one must address their health issues physically, emotionally and spiritually. The three are intertwined and one affects the other. I also believe that there is usually more than one right way to accomplish your health goals and I want to help you find the ways that will make sense to you and make your health goals a reality. I am a fan of Jesus Christ. He is my Lord, my Savior and my very best friend. When I work with you, I will be taking your name before the throne of heaven. This is the very best part of what I get to do for you.
